Route of mount Agung Bali Trekking
1. Pasar Agung Temple Route
The steep route will be traversed from the start of the climb if the route through Pasar Agung Temple. The time required to get to the top of Mount Agung is about 3-4 hours. The highlight of this route is the peak on the southern crater of Mount Agung which ends about 100 meters below the highest point.
Pasar Agung Itinerary :
11:30 – 12:00 PM: You are picked up at the hotel where you stay.
01:30 AM: Arriving at Pasar Agung Temple – the starting point of climbing.
01:45 AM: The journey begins to the summit of Mount Agung.
06:00 AM: Arriving at the summit of the climb to witness the spectacular scenery and sunrise.
7:30 AM: Journey back to the starting point of the climb.
11:00 AM: Arrives at the starting point of the climb and preparation back to the hotel.
01:00 PM: You arrive back at the hotel where you are staying.
2. Besakih Temple Route
If you choose the route of Besakih Temple, then to get to the top of the mountain takes about 5 – 7 hours. This route has varying difficulty levels, some are steep and sloping. Through this route, you can reach the highest peak of Mount Agung is 3.142 meters above sea level.
Besakih Itinerary :
08:30 – 09:00 PM: You are picked up at the hotel where to stay.
11:00 PM: Arrive at Besakih Temple – the starting point of the ascent.
11:15 PM: The journey begins to the summit of Mount Agung.
06:00 AM: Arriving at the summit of the climb to witness the spectacular scenery and sunrise.
07:30 AM: A journey back to the starting point of the climb.
12:00 PM: Arrives at the starting point of the climb and preparation back to the hotel.
